SMOOCH

Finally Friday! I am sorry for being absent on here the past 2 days.  I styled two all day photo shoots on Wednesday & Thursday in NY and it took the life out of me!  This was my first time styling a shoot like this alone and it was crazy and a lot of work but I learned so much already. I did about 50 looks! There's more to learn but I am proud of myself for what I have accomplished so far.  The online boutique that I am working with is called Daily Material.  There's a great mix of edgy, fun, bold, chic, and girly pieces.  It will be launching soon so I will keep you posted!

Now on to today's outfit..

Tank: C/O Furor Moda/ Shorts (also love) & Sunglasses (similar): H&M
Shoes: Love Culture (shop similar)/ Bag: C/O olivia + joy/ Earrings: C/O Bakers
Bracelet & Ring: C/O Love Always/ Lipstick: MAC Nicki

I've been in so many skirts and dresses lately that it was definitely time for more of a casual look. Denim shorts are a summer staple that everyone should have.  The greatest thing about them is that they literally go with anything.  I always get mine from H&M or Forever21.  I bought these a few months ago before I went on my Miami trip.  I definitely need a couple more pairs to get me through the summer.  Pop art tanks are so much fun to style and play around with so that's what I did with this outfit... I had fun! I matched my lipstick with the girl in the top and brought out the yellow in her hair with my favorite bag.  Since it's a cute casual look I put my hair into a high ponytail, added my mirrored aviators, and that pretty much completed the look I was going for.

I said this in one of my instagram videos and now I want to mention it here:
I think the most important part about finding or enhancing your style is to just have fun with it.  Get creative, get inspired, don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone a little bit and just see what works best for you.  The best part about personal style is the fact that it's personal, so make it your own.

Happy weekend XO

Floral Reflection

Bright colors and prints instantly put me in a good mood. I am feeling so summer ready in this beautiful floral reflection dress!

Dress: C/O SheInside/ Shoes: Mandee (also love)/ Bag: Urban Expressions (shop here)
Bracelet & Ring: C/O Love Always

I know that florals and other bold print patterns are not for everyone but over the past few years I have really grown to love them.  I think that they are great statement pieces and a sure fire way to liven up any ensemble.  This dress is a fab choice for going out on a summer night with your friends or even on a date.  It's the perfect blend of sexy and classy with a little bit of fun.  I decided to bring out the mint green in the dress with my shoes.  I could have easily gone with something more toned down like nude, but I was feeling bold like this print so I wanted to add more color :)

I received my first ever monogram jewelry with my initials from the amazing Love Always.  The ring and bracelet are perfect and I will probably wear them both everyday.  I have definitely grown quite a collection of accessories over the past year but I have to say that the personalized pieces are definitely my favorite.

I'll be spending the next few days in NY for back to back shoots for a new online boutique launching soon. Can't wait to share!

Crop It Out

Happy Monday fashionistas!  I hope you all had a great weekend.  This week is going to be super hectic but I will try and post on here as much as I can.

Crop Top: C/O Furor Moda/ Skirt: C/O Charlotte Russe/ Shoes: C/O Bakers
Necklace: C/O Happy Wrist

Crop tops are such a staple piece for the summer time.  My favorite way to style them is with high waisted pieces so that your belly button is covered but you're still showing a little bit of skin.  That way, there is some sex appeal but it's still classy! You can do the same with bandeaus and crop tops that are on the shorter side.  Another way to style them is by pairing a blazer on top so you're covering the sides but only exposing a little in the front.  I know that I will be getting a lot of use out of this one during the summer.

This skirt is the first thing I own in chevron print and I really love it.  Of course, there are so many ways to wear black and white pieces (as I have shown here on my blog) but this time I only added a pop of color with my lips.  Initially I wanted to wear black shoes, but I thought white would be a little more unexpected.

Have a fab day!

Orange POP

Happy 1st day of summer!  I really hope these next few months don't go by too quickly. I am wrapping up this week with a daytime summer look :)

Skirt (old): Cotton On/ Top: Forever21 (also love)/ Sandals: C/O Naughty Monkey
 Bag: C/O olivia + joy/ Sunglasses: H&M (shop similar)/ Necklace: C/O Love Always
 Bracelet: C/O Bay Style Diary

Summer is all about staying cool and wearing pieces that fit you comfortably on those really hot days.  But of course, you still want to stay stylish and this is a great way to do that. Maxi skirts like this one are great because they don't hug the body too much and have somewhat of a flowy look.  I also think that maxis are one of the easiest and most versatile pieces to wear, especially this one since it's a neutral color. I wanted to throw in a little element of surprise so I went with this beautiful orange olivia + joy bag that I am obsessed with!  Using a bold/bright colored bag is always a great way to spice up your neutral looks.

I am wearing my new gold sandals and I absolutely adore the details.  The best part about them is that they're more on the dressier side so they're perfect for outfits like this but will still give you a casual feel since they're flats. I was in desperate need of some sandals too since most of mine are starting to get worn out.  Make sure to follow me on instagram because later today I will be announing a giveaway and one lucky winner will get their favorite pair of Naughty Monkey shoes!

I've got a busy weekend ahead which includes prepping about 50 different looks for next week's photo shoots that I am styling. I finally got a planner and I am really looking forward to getting organized (let's see how long it lasts lol) Have a great weekend loves!

Naty Grams

It's been too long since I did one of these!  I really wanted to do this once every two weeks but that never ends up happening.  So as always, here's 9 of my most recent/favorite ones that I wanted to share with you all here on my blog :)

Make sure to follow me if you aren't already: @natybaby

1.  Are any of you on vine?  I took this screen shot from a video I posted yesterday.  Follow me if you're on there! Username: Naty Michele. Wearing my favorite H&M mirrored aviators.

2.  Some details from yesterday's outfit that will be posted on here tomorrow!  It was such a beautiful day :)

3. I wore this on Father's Day.  Even though I didn't have any plans, I still wanted to get dressed up in memory of my father.  It's a maxi dress from Gypsy Warrior that I wore a couple of months back with booties and a faux leather jacket.

4.  It never gets easier and it's going on 3 years already.  This is something I wrote on Father's Day that I wanted to share on here:
You always believed in me even when I didn't believe in myself. You pushed me to be a better person and made me understand what it really meant to work hard for the things that I wanted in life. You were always there for me through the good and the bad times with your unconditional support and love. You made me realize that I couldn't wish my life away and that if I had dreams I needed to go out and make them come true. Well dad, they are starting to come true but the only thing missing is you. Not a single day goes by where I don't think of you. I was so blessed to have you as my father. You will always be the number one man in my life. With every part of me, I miss you and I love you. Happy Father's Day my angel. I carry your heart, I carry it in my heart.

5.  Last week I went over to Nadia's house, who literally lives around the block from me.  It was such a great relaxing afternoon with some yummy healthy snacks and blogging talk.

6. This is the pictorial I made for the milkmaid braid.  Make sure to check out my video for this if you haven't yet: Milkmaid Braid Tutorial

7.  I wore this to my sister's fitness competition 2 weeks ago.  This INSPIRE shirt was made for me by
Classic Tone. I am so appreciative of it because as you know, I am literally branded with the word inspire (my tat) and it's truly my daily mantra to try and inspire every single day.

8.  I could not agree with this more!  Continue to dream BIG and don't let anyone discourage you or make you feel that you aren't capable because you most certainly ARE!

9.  I mentioned a a few weeks ago in one of my posts that I styled a test shoot and these are just 2 of the looks that I did.  Once the site launches I will be giving you more details (really excited), but one thing I can say now is that I am going to be their stylist for all of their shoots going forward.  We have 2 official shoots next week for the website which will be launching in July! :)

Happy Thursday!!

Color Your World

Hey babes! It's a colorful Wednesday on the blog today.  I know that midweek can be a drag for some people, so try brightening up your day with some color :)
I hope this gives you a little inspo on what to wear for a special event/occasion this summer!

Dress: Keepsake C/O beauxx/ Shoes: Forever21 (similar style)/ Earrings: C/O Lola Blue

I am in love with the colors on this dress and the mirror floral print.  It's so pretty and vibrant making this very girly but fun at the same time.  The length and style makes it a great option for a special occasion.  It's classy, chic, and definitely a stand out piece.  I especially love that it has a little bit of an open back giving it some sex appeal too.  There's lots of other fab dresses at beauxx.com that are perfect for parties and events!
I decided to bring out the blue with my shoes and went with simple accessories since the dress pretty much speaks for itself.  I borrowed my mother's rings to add a little touch of elegance.  I really love the purple stone. It was windy when we took these so don't mind the crazy hair in some of these pics!

I have some new projects that I am working on so I will be sharing that with you all soon. I am really excited and thankful. Things are going to start getting pretty hectic for me and I need to be super organized so that I can stay on top of everything. I would love to get some of your tips on what you do to stay organized!
