Menswear Inspired

I am a huge fan of menswear inspired pieces and I have mentioned that on here so many times.  I wanted to try something a little bit different than my usual looks so I incorporated two menswear style pieces together, boyfriend jeans and a button up, while of course still adding my personal feminine touch.

Shirt: C/O Aeropostale (here)/ Boyfriend Jeans: C/O Aeropostale (here)
Shoes: Mandee (similar)/ Bag(old): C/O PLNDR/ Sunglasses: Charlotte Russe (similar)
Lipstick: F-Bomb Urban Decay

I really love these boyfriend jeans from Aeropostale.  They were a new addition to their fall collection so when I tried them on at their event, I knew I had to take them home.  I always go up a size than what I typically wear when it comes to this style, mainly so that it has more of a relaxed fit.  Since I've worn my other pairs of BF jeans a few times on the blog, I was trying to think of something different.  It's been so long since I styled a button up so I decided to pair them with this tiny floral print one.  What I really liked about it is that it brings more of a femininity to this look. To bring out the red in the print, I went with a bold lip and clutch to match.  I chose my nude sandals to tone things down a little as well.  I think that BF jeans are the new "skinny" jeans!  Lately, I am seeing them everywhere and they will continue to be a trend going into the fall season.  How do you style yours?

On another note,  I just recently realized I've hit over 1,000 followers on my blog so thank you all so much!  I don't think I can ever put into words how much your support means to me <3

Happy Friday beauties!

Spikes & Studs

Happy Thursday loves!

Dress (here) & Clutch (here) : C/O A Fashion Doll Boutique
Belt: Zara (similar)/ Shoes: Breckelles Found On Amazon(similar) / Lipstick: Venom Urban Decay

With this look, I was going for a mix of girly and edgy.  Since I love both faux leather and skater dresses the two combined was a must have for me. Flared bottoms are so feminine and fun and of course the leather top toughens it up a little bit.   This dress was one of my favorites from
A Fashion Doll.  I decided to accessorize with a lot of gold so I added this spike belt to break up the black and define my waist line a little more.  And then I took it a step further and added this studded transparent clutch that is also from A Fashion Doll.  I've been wanting to try out this trend for awhile now and I am sure you all have been seeing transparent bags everywhere lately. I was pleasantly surprised to find it on their site!  I thought that the studs made it really unique and different from all of the others that I have seen.  It comes in neon too!  I added a bold pop of color on my lips with this purple shade from UD, another new fave!

A Fashion Doll is an online boutique that offers both trendy and affordable clothing and accessories.  They are giving all of my followers a 30% off discount by entering the code NATYBABY30 at checkout from now till the end of August.  A lot of their items are also on sale so that means a double discount for you!  I really love their jewelry and clutches.  You can follow them on instagram  @afashiondollboutique and like them on Facebook.

Old Navy Rockstar Denim

As fall approaches, one staple item that comes to mind is denim.  I think every woman should have at least one great pair of jeans in her closet.  When searching for a pair, I focus on finding ones that have an amazing fit and stretch.  I am not a fan of stiff denim and I prefer ones that are extremely comfortable to move around in.  That's just one of the many reasons why I love this pair from Old Navy! It has 5-10% more stretch.  As soon as I tried these on, I knew they were a perfect fit.

Kimono: Cotton On (also love)/ Tank: Mandee/ Shoes: Forever21(shop here)

I went to Old Navy over the weekend and got to check out their fall denim collection for myself.  They have such a wide variety of different styles for everyone.  I saw lots of floral, bold colors and even tuxedo stripes. All of their denim comes in 3 lengths, 6 cuts and endless washes. They seriously have a huge selection to choose from and I tried on a bunch of different pairs.  The ones that I have on are from their Rockstar collection.  The Rockstar has a universally flattering low rise and super stretch fabric.  I picked the authentic wash and really loved the little distressed details.   The rest of their denim collection includes The Diva (mid rise and slimmer thigh), The Flirt (mid rise with a fuller thigh), and The Sweetheart (best for those with a smaller waist and fuller thigh).  I love that each of these collections cater to different body types.

There are so many ways to style denim, but for this look, I went casual chic with an oversized snakeskin print kimono and nude heels (new faves).  I love the relaxed vibe that it gives off.  This outfit is proof that I am starting to anticipate the fall!

I also love the denim on denim trend that has been extremely popular this year.  I've tried it out myself here on the blog and have also showed various ways to style chambray tops.  As I've mentioned previously, they're a great staple piece to have and they're also perfect to transition into next season.  Old Navy also offers chambray tops as well to help you achieve that denim on denim look :)

Right now they're having having an amazing sale on their young adult denim with prices
starting at $19! It ends on August 29th so make sure to take advantage!

How will you wear your denim this fall?

Black & Burgundy

Today's post is my 2nd outfit collaboration with H&M for the 50 States Of Fashion campaign!  In case you missed my announcement, they've picked me as their sole style ambassador for New Jersey and I am seriously honored!
(Read till the end for another big announcement!)

Imitation Leather Biker Jacket: C/O H&M
Dress(old): H&M (similar)/ Shoes(here) & Sunglasses: C/O Charlotte Russe/ Clutch: Gypsy Warrior
Lipstick: Shame Urban Decay

One of my absolute favorite pieces to wear, that just so happens to be perfect for transitioning into fall, are biker jackets.  I can't even count how many times I wore my all black one from H&M, so I was super excited to get this two toned black and burgundy one! Whether you pair them with cut offs, jeans, dresses or skirts, moto jackets are super edgy and a great way to add a little dimension to your looks.  This one is a size bigger than I normally wear which actually works out perfect for layering.  In the beginning of the fall season when the weather starts to cool down, a moto jacket is typically my go to piece so it's nice to have extra room to layer.  With this look, I wanted to show how you can take a simple LBD and make it stand out with this jacket since it's such a statement piece.  It's perfect for a night out or even for during the day. I matched my lips to the burgundy in the jacket with Urban Decay's Shame lipstick that just might be new favorite shade for fall.  I also added the snakeskin clutch to bring another element to this simple outfit.

Don't forget to tag your personal style photos on instagram and get your friends to vote for you on the microsite!  Use the hashtag #HMShopOnlineXX (xx for your state) so again, mine would be #HMShopOnlineNJ.  I have been seeing so many great entries so far and can't wait to see more! Just a reminder that the grand prize winner will get a $1000 H&M gift card and trip to NYFW.  There will also be a few other winners who will receive a $250 gift card.  So what are you waiting for?!  And don't forget that you can now shop online for H&M :)

BIG ANNOUNCEMENT: So excited to officially share the news that I am now the fashion blogger for 4 major shopping centers in New Jersey as part of GGP's Fearless Fashionista Campaign!! This is so huge for me and I am really excited about it!  I am going to try and do a separate post to talk about it in more detail but for now, you can read my posts every Tuesday and Thursday HERE :)

Transitional

With only a few weeks left of summer, it's time to start thinking of some transitional items to bring us into fall.  It's definitely not too early to start incorporating them into our outfits now.  One of my personal favorites are vests (in any style) because they're perfect for layering and can actually be worn all through out the year.  I mentioned previously that I am now a VIP fashion blogger for Aeropostale, so today I am introducing you to one of their new products for fall, this faux leather moto vest!

Vest: C/O Aeropostale/ Shirt: H&M (similar)/ Shorts: C/O SheInside/ Shoes: Bakers(similar)
 Sunglasses & Bracelets: Charlotte Russe

I've been wanting a vest like this for quite some time so I was excited to see that Aeropostale is now carrying them at their store.  It also comes in black. I picked this up when I went to their event last week.  I had a couple of different ideas how I wanted to style it (originally with boyfriend jeans) but I decided to wear something a little more summery to show that you can start wearing this piece now.  I plan on wearing it again in a couple of weeks to show how to style it during the fall season and I am pretty sure it will make more appearances on the blog once the colder weather hits.

I wore these shorts about three weeks ago and I've been wanting to rock them again in a different way because I adore them!  I think it's a great idea to show the versatility of certain items because realistically many of us wear the same thing more than once.  I added a pop of color again with this neon tee and layered on the vest to make it a little more casual.  The weather was super bi-polar in Jersey when I took these pics.  It went from sunny to rain to sunny to gloomy so I did my best to make it work! What are some of your transitional must have pieces?

I hope that you all have an amazing weekend and thanks so much for checking out my posts!

Sporty Chic

The infamous skort has made it's way back on my blog but this time in black!  I think almost every single blogger has one at this point, but that's probably because it's such a fun piece to style.  Every time I see someone wearing it, it looks completely different.  I wanted to go for a sporty chic look.  I wore this to an event last night (minus the shades) that I will mention at the end of this post!

Skort: C/O SheInside/ Blazer: C/O LunaB (shop similar)/ Top: Furor Moda/ Shoes: Amazon (here)
Necklace: OiaJules/ Sunglasses: Charlotte Russe

I am challenging myself to stop wearing this top.  It became a huge summer staple piece for me and I think I've lost count of how many times I have worn it.  But it really was a great addition to this outfit and helped me achieve the look I was going for.  I love the fit of this black skort so much better than my white one.  It has a little more of a relaxed vibe and it's extremely comfortable.  The pockets are my favorite part because it adds a little sportiness.  The color of this blazer was the perfect POP that I needed.  I have a similar one, but the style on this is different.  As you all know, blazers are one of my favorite pieces and I just can't get enough.  I'm looking forward to wearing more of them again once the weather cools down a bit.  These shoes are my new favorites and you will probably see them on here a lot!  The brand is Breckelles and I found them on amazon just by searching the name.

Last night I went to a networking event at The Sanctuary Hotel for the launch of Jenna Burke's blog, The Over Analyst.  Jenna was on season 16 of The Bachelor and she was seriously so sweet!  It was so nice being able to chat with her about blogging.  I did a contest on instagram where I asked my followers to upload a photo of something that inspires them.  The winner got to come with me to the event last night.  I just wanted to do something nice and fun for one of them.  I love meeting new people and interacting with the ones who read my blog. If it weren't for my followers, I would have a blog that no one reads.  The support means so much to me so I just wanted to do something special for someone.

The winner Andrea was such a sweetheart and I am really happy I picked her! How fab are her shoes? You're beautiful love and so is your sister! I had a great time with you :)

With the lovely Jenna Burke.  Make sure to check out her fashion & lifestyle blog The Over Analyst.

With Jaclynn, one of the sweetest girls that I have ever met!  I will be hosting an event with her in September that I am super excited about.  She is launching her blog soon too.  Thanks so much for last night!

With blogger babe Nadia, my sissy and Jaclynn.  Either I was standing directly under the light or this photo just confirms the fact that I seriously need a tan.  Probably the latter lol I'm so happy they came out with me as well as my friend Lauren too :)

Have an amazing Thursday loves!!
