Farewell 2012.

2012 is coming to a close and I can't help but reflect on all that has happened this past year.  It's really shown me all that I am capable of and it's truly allowed me to go after my dreams more than ever before.  It's also made me realize that no matter what, I always find a way to make things work.  I feel very blessed and thankful to be doing something that I love.  I am appreciative every single day for all that I have, especially my guardian angel who continues to light my path.  I am looking forward to all of the things that 2013 will bring.  My only resolution is to continue to evolve and make all my dreams a reality. Thank you all for continuing to follow me on this journey.  Your love and support means the world to me and I wish every single one of you the best in the new year!

Here's a look at 12 of my favorite outfits from this past year in no particular order :)

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

Whatever your situation, I hope you find some time to relax and unwind from what seems like another chaotic holiday season. Perhaps some tea, your favorite blanket and a healthy dose of holiday outfits in this week’s Links a la Mode will help? It’s the last one of the year, so enjoy & happy new year!

Golden Girl

I'm so happy it's Friday and I am really looking forward to tonight's festivities! I have a holiday party with a bunch of people that I graduated high school with.  We used to do it every year after Christmas but we haven't had one in about 3 years so it's like a little reunion :)  This is what I am going to wear! (plus a jacket of course)

Top & Skirt: Forever21 (gifted)/ Shoes: Aldo (gifted)/ Ring: C/O ShopHoneyLove/ iPhone Case: C/O MobileTogs

My love for gold runs deep.  It's definitely one of my favorite colors.  I got this bubble skirt for Christmas from my mom.  I am absolutely obsessed with it!  It's perfect for the holidays or any special occasion.  I think Forever21 has a dress with the same material but I like the skirt so much better.  My mom got me this top too so I thought that it paired perfectly since it's white with little gold studs. I always fall in love with the little details.

I desperately needed new nude pumps so thankfully my sister got me these!  Every girl should have a pair of nude shoes in her closet.  Definitely a staple piece!  This gorgeous white & gold ring is from Shop Honey Love.  I'm in love with it! It was the perfect finishing touch for my outfit.

When it comes to fashion, accessories are EVERYTHING and that even applies to iPhone cases.  I don't know about any of you, but my phone is definitely one of my most used accessories.  I was super excited to get The Looker as a Christmas gift from Mobile Togs.  It's an iPhone case, mirror and card holder all in one.  I know I'm not the only one who has used the camera on my phone as a mirror lol and now I don't have to anymore!  Plus, the mirror is shatterproof and scratch resistant.  I used to slip my license and debit card underneath my phone case and now there's an actual slot for me to place them in.  It's perfection! The secure pocket fits your ID, credit card and transit card. They come in a variety of colors too, but I went with honey gold.
Make sure to check these cases out.  They're stylish AND useful :)

What are your plans for NYE?  Only more a few more days till 2013!  I am really looking forward to everything that the new year will bring.

It's Christmas Time In The City

I can't believe Christmas came and left already!  I hope that all of you had an amazing holiday and got everything you wished for! I got some really great gifts and I am so thankful for my family.  This year I did something a little different with my mom and sis.  Ever since my father passed away Christmas hasn't really been the same for us, so this year we decided to spend it in the city.  After opening gifts and having our traditional Christmas breakfast with mimosas at the house, we went to Bryant Park for some holiday fun and dinner.

Shirt: Forever21 (gifted)/ Leggings: gifted/ Shoes: Jennifer Lopez (gifted)

I couldn't get too dressed up since most of the night we were going to be walking around but I brought my heels with me for dinner & pics :) I went with this top that I just got for Christmas!  I love the pearl details on the collar. I went with a classic black and white outfit and added a pop of color on my lips.  I actually mixed Mac Russian Red with Mac Creme Cup to get this shade. I also just got a thicker curling wand for Christmas too, so I am loving how my hair came out.

We had dinner at Celsius, the restaurant overlooking the skating rink in Bryant Park.  It's got a great view and a fun atmosphere.

How cute is my mom?  She's wearing a Daisy Fuentes sweater that I got her with over the knee boots.  Love her!

I've been to Rockefeller Center a bunch of times and I actually prefer Bryant Park instead.  This tree is beautiful too <3 Besides dinner we went into the different shops, walked around, and took pics! My mom and sis had never been to Bryant Park so I was excited to show them around.  We had a really great time and for the first time in awhile, it actually felt like Christmas. The only thing missing of course was my angel but I know that he was with us in spirit.  I am very grateful to have been blessed with another Christmas to spend with mother and sister.

Happy Holidays!

Merry Christmas Eve!

Merry Christmas Eve my lovies! This post will be short and sweet since I know most of you are probably out and about getting ready for the night's festivities.

Dress: C/O OASAP/ Shoes: Jennifer Lopez (Gifted)/ Necklace: C/O Lexmila/ Clutch: Gifted

I got this fun little skater dress from OASAP with silver buttons and bubble sleeves.  It fit me a little loose so I did my best to make it work.  My mom gave me these Jennifer Lopez heels as an early Christmas gift because my puppy recently chewed my other ones, so these are a fab replacement! I put on a little bling with this statement necklace, silver rings and added a red lip. It's a simple look but still festive!  There's seriously so many different things that you could wear during the holidays and I hope that my recent posts have helped to inspire you in some way!

I might be going into NY tomorrow for dinner with my mom and sis to do something a little bit different this year so I am really excited for that.  I wish all of you and your families a very Merry Christmas!

JimmySwagg Eyewear Event

I ended up going to an event last minute on Friday night at the Sienna Ray PopUp Shop for JimmySwagg Eyewear.  Their brand is all about exuding confidence and introducing the fashion world to what they call "Urban Uber Chic."  They're dedicated to empowering their community through a feel good culture.  They have a great variety of designs and their collection is really affordable too.  What I loved most though, is that they donate $1 from every sale to charity.  They also have pink shades and they donate $2 from each sale to breast cancer research.  It's amazing when a brand gives back!

I was in sunglass heaven!  The perfect pair of shades can complete any outfit.  I was able to snap a couple of pics so I hope you like the shades as much as I do!

Sweater Dress: H&M/ Necklace: Gifted/ Bag: C/O SiennaRay

I think this was the fastest that I ever got ready!  I didn't have any time to do full outfit photos, but I paired this sweater dress with black tights and my Steve Madden booties.  I added the statement necklace, red lip and gold bag to dress it up a bit.

With Natalie & Jaclynn from Sienna Ray and Justin from JimmySwagg all wearing JS shades!

My new shades c/o JimmySwagg! They're called the Alpha & Omegas.  I literally tried on almost every pair and these were my favorites! You all know how much I love sunglasses so I was really excited to add these to my collection.  I love their logo: Shades On Shades.  Thank you Justin!

I can't believe tomorrow is already Christmas Eve! If I have time, I will definitely do an outfit post, but if not I will be back after Christmas.  I know most of you are probably super busy anyway doing last minute things and spending time with your loved ones.  I hope that you all get what you wished for!

Lots Of Love
